8th Regiment Insignia

Ok... So I have, for some time, not really liked the 8th Regiment Insignia. Viagra or Cialis...
Meh... MU Enhancement is funny... But still... Not to my liking.

So...

What do you all think of it?

And if you don't like it or think it could be better, then tell us what you would like to see?

If you put in input, please tell us what reg you are from and what it's insignia is. Just as a point of reference. I am not posting this for 8th only, cause someday you may be here too...

From what I've seen, most people don't even have their regiment's insignia on their uniform. You're the only one I've seen with that one. >>;

Yeah... Just checked... We are at 3/19 with the correct regiment insignia...

Kinda says it all, especially when the current capt does not have it either...

I started in 4th and gave the 4th its name. Eventually I got moved to the 10th and that's why I have that insignia.

Realistically...I usually forget to change it...but I agree the 8th could use a new name/insignia

Is there a list somewhere of all the Insignias? I've always kinda wondered what they all are, and apparently if only 3/19 have it right then I'm not the only one. It's not that big of a deal, but if we are going to bother to include it in the uniform we might as well get it right, I know mine hasn't been changed since I joined, and I've been moved a couple times.

There used to be an image bank that had all of the insignia and I used to check it on occasion, but with the forum move we've yet to replace the thread.

The one I have is outdated. It has the wrong insignia for the 11th, but it's the only one I have atm.

This is the 11th regiment insignia "The Black Eagles". It is the two-headed black eagle which is a national symbol also present on the Albanian flag (on the red background though).

I like the 11th Regi insignia.

I had named the 3rd "Tactical Command" and I love that insignia. I'm not too fond of the 14th one, so I haven't changed mine.

This is the insignia for the US 8th Infantry Regiment, known as the Fighting Eagles.

I'd say the Fighting Eagles would fit in nicely with the Easy Company/101st Airborne Screaming Eagles

I like this one a bit too... I think we have enough suggestions to vote on 1 in the company. Like I said, I don't think it is just an 8th regiment decision cause the guys in the lower ranks may come through here and I would like them to be proud to wear the insignia of the 8th.

Gonna need a new name... and motto I think too so keep the awesome suggestions coming. You all have been immensely helpful.
