So... What's the name for the 8th regiment?

Laisk and I would like to know, as that's the only thing stopping us from having the complete sets of up-to-date regiment sig banners.
I know the emblem changed, but what's the new name? I've honestly not the slightest idea.

Thread can be cut loose/deleted after this is answered, just felt this was the most relevant spot to ask.

I believe the intention was to call them the Minuteman Regiment.

So we've got the the Raiders, the Snipers, the Spartans, the Ghosts, the Black Eagles, the Swamp Rats, and the Freedom Fighters... I could totally see the Minutemen working out. Given the emblem Drew shared, we could go with a certain directly related group for naming it--the Sons of Liberty.

Any objections to such?

I believe we should go with Drew's suggestion though, since he came up with the image and idea.
So unless he says otherwise, I vote Minutemen.

Sure. someone can. You. I believe that is the regiment you have been assigned to upkeep. You do work for the Communications Office, you know. There's 19 people there. Have at it. Either that, or get the Captain (Dusty) to do it.

Meh, we should put some more thought into this before we make a decision, I'm not really a fan of this liberty stuff. Its just so cliche.

Obviously won't be a one-day things or anything, but we need ideas and to make a decision. The 8th needs a name, and may as well have a fitting emblem. xD

Okay first credit where credit is due, Mike Ontry made the Minuteman Liberty Shield; at the time it was entered into a contest for the 'Sons of Liberty' Military Unit. Although I like the Minutemen moniker; I would not be adverse to using 'Sons of Liberty' and think the 'Liberty' thing works because of our present sitrep. Right now we have 14 Regiments, only 7 currently have a name; doubt any of them have a motto -so I see this as a first step and a good moral booster cause we are gonna need it....

I think before we were the "Lucky Eighth" but I'm not certain.

Well, with the "Lucky 13th", lucky's not really a good option right now.

Hopefully bringing the 8th itself to think about it will produce some good ideas, yes? :3
