Re: What are you listening to....
Rockin' Portland, ME....
I have said this before, but I will do so again. I LOVE MUSIC! All that is except Country and Western, where serial losers sing about their latest failed relationship. My favorite format ofc is Classic Rock, especially rock from the 'Woodstock Generation' of musicians; who helped to end a war.
Today is Veterans Day, say thank you to a Veteran!

Re: What are you listening to....
It's only tangentially related to the thread, but Molly Emma recently posted this excellent article from Smithsonian Magazine about early radio and how it relates to net neutrality on the eUS forums:
http://www.smithsonianmag.com/innovation/debate-over-net-neutrality-has-its-roots-fight-over-radio-freedom-180952774/
Since it specifically touches on how radio was really the first medium where people could sample the flavor of people from far away and how that in itself help build the sense of American identity, I thought you might appreciate it.

Re: What are you listening to....
YES! Excellent article.
Back in in the day a radio and a stereo phonograph were essential items for any kids bedroom. The first time I danced with a girl it was to 'Then He kissed Me'...
Just six years later I flew to Vietnam listening to the Rolling Stones album 'Sticky Fingers'....
I met my wife at a radio station live broadcast when she come up to the window and requested 'Angie'...
Together we conceived our oldest daughter to 'Every Breath You Take'....
No matter how bad a day you are having, no matter how bleak your life looks; good music will make your heart sing and easy your troubled mind....

Back when I worked one of the major factors I had to be concerned with was silence, I needed to be quieter than a church mouse 99% of the time; maybe that is why I need music in my life now...but in your honor...
