Niagara Fall's Classic Rock Radio...
Having been in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the last few weeks, it is good to be back in Brocton, New York. Sadly the weekend I return the Bill's lose, but at least the benched E J Manuel, but they replace him with Kyle Orton...?

This station started out as KJAC (1960 - 1976), a country and western AOR; then  in September 1976 it became the AOR KATT and has been an Oklahoma City fixture since.

Re: What are you listening to....
My family is in a titanic struggle with my wife's sister's family. Tracy lives in Pueblo West, Colorado, nice place to visit; but it is high desert and not one blade of grass is to be had. She has made the argument that once my son-in-law and my youngest daughter are out of college we should make the move to Colorado. So far I have been able to shoot down all her arguments such as: they live near a lake and the mountains, I simply pointed out that we also live near a lake (actually 10 lakes), the mountains and a foreign country -even though it's only Canada, hey. Just before I came back to New York she pointed out it was cold as hell in New York, today I plan to point out that for the last several weeks Pueblo West has been an average of 10 degrees colder than Brocton.
I will give her this: the rock stations seem to be a wee bit better that ours....

I put this up over 10 minutes ago and have heard nothing but freakin ads ever since...!
Edit @9:03 am:
Okay. I am so glad I do not live in Cleveland. I have tried 5 stations in that city and so far I have not heard even one song. WTF!

Re: What are you listening to....
You know desperation is setting in when you start thinking of places where Uncle Sam sent you.
Savannah, Georgia.
Worked at a National Guard Training Center there. After searching my gray (or is that grey?) matter I seem to recall that Savannah was the Pirate Capital back in the day. Which begs the question, 'Why wouldn't you be The Pirate instead of The Hawk?'

Yes, I love music and listen to something on the radio all day; I FN love the 'interweb' for allowing me to check out other areas of the country. So with that in mind...

Re: What are you listening to....
Well, I don't listen to much terrestrial radio anymore, since my niche interests have morphed my music preference into something that's like 75-80% Japanese vocal rock, dubstep, and anime music, but I'll contribute with my local stations to aid your radio travels.
What I'd normally listen to on the radio. Usually rock from the 90's and newer, with a smattering of classic rock. Out of Forest City, North Carolina.
The classic rock station of choice; what I grew up on riding in the car with my dad. Licensed out of Anderson, South Carolina (my hometown).
Apparently, they've both changed branding in recent times, so I'm using old logos since I like them better. The links are current though.

Nice! I am listening to 'The Planet' currently. Maybe some others will contribute to the my travels.
So. What is the best Classic Rock/Rock station in your area? Anyone know of any good college stations?
