Creating an eEmpire

Have you ever scrolled through the war list and noticed that there was anywhere from 4 to 8 active wars going? I personally feel like the choice of where to fight is so limited. Wouldn't it be interesting for a County to go on an all out offense? Countries stop after they reach full bonuses, but why not keep going? You could create numerous RW's across the map and keep TP medals rolling in.

Thoughts?

But seriously though, while I can see how that would be fun (at first), I've always felt like eRep was more entertaining when the game moved slower. Attacks had a cost, RWs weren't easy, and there was a limit on the number of open battles a country could have. It just felt like battles mattered more and the player-made narrative had more vibrancy with more time to develop.

I don't know. I know that could be boring for some folks, so I guess it's up for debate. One thing I can say definitively is that the pace the game has now combined with the waves of insignificant battles have basically snuffed out war reporting as a serious genre. I mean I do appreciate the bit pieces A^2 does for the WHPR, but man, it's just not what it was.

Raccoongoon, I understand what you mean by only having so many open fronts/RW's for a country. I've seen days where Serbia had 2 direct wars and 5 or 6 RW's at once.

It would change the game if a nation could only have 1 front and 1 RW at a time. You couldn't create damage sinks anymore.

Battles are not as fun as they used to be. I remember being a member of the USAF Special Forxes with my 8k strength. Me along with a group of SF members would hit a wall together and you could watch your 200k damage make a huge difference.
