Money Making for New Players
So...
How do I do it? I'm not going to be spending real money on the game at this point. I'm at a loss for how to make money.
I have a job that gives me 213 a day - tax. I see that I should be working at the commune, but I don't understand what that is or how to start working for it.
Other than that, I don't get how to make more money. I've got excess energy that I don't want to spend warring because I don't have the money to sustain my warmongering. I think I need a steadier form of income before I burn my (1 days worth of) life savings.
Is there a link I missed somewhere?

Re: Money Making for New Players
Check out and read MFA on the left of the forum, nice tips in there for starters.
Re: Money Making for New Players
I see, so my warmongering has been counter productive. That's unfortunate...
Hopefully I haven't stretch it too far just yet. I'll do just the 25 for a few days and consider taking some days off from war as well.
As for the commune, can you explain a bit more on that? I'm not sure how I work for the commune. I don't see that word anywhere on the site itself.

Re: Money Making for New Players
Awesome. Thanks. I can't resign from my current job for another day, but I'll join up after I'm able.
Also, I read that there's a discount on training ground upgrades roughly once per month. Shame I didn't know that before spending the full 20 on the first upgrade, but I'll wait around for the discount on the second upgrade.
That said, I probably won't be able to put up the 28 gold for the second upgrade at this point. Is there any kind of loan system where I can borrow 28 gold in preparation for the discount (then upgrade my training grounds) and slowly pay back the 28 gold? That way I reap the benefits of the upgraded training earlier instead of having to wait until I have it all saved up.

Re: Money Making for New Players
Jasper Signa shared this with me:
Link to Bank Up to Strength UP free gold for players over level 21.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfv9e7RO3jxGQuKlqzv9k8fKyV-YQRajfUybtNKQ5ABXqBCzA/viewform
Looks like I will need one more level after all.

Re: Money Making for New Players
You can do the war module quite good. Fight in air battles when possible. do not buy weapons, fight barehanded. You raise your damage for 5% gaining each level in air battles (and an energy bar for free). When there is money offered for combat orders you can earn extra cash.
A nice way to get money is to go for the freedom Fighters medals (do 25/50/75 kills in successful resistance wars). You can combine that with Mercenary Medals (do 25 kills for 50 different nations). You will need moving tickets to go to most of these battles. When the travel costs are more than $ 40. They can be earned with prestige points. You can buy them also on the market, than buy the Q5 moving tickets, they are priced around $ 41. The other quality of moving tickets are priced high AND they take health when traveling.

Re: Money Making for New Players
Thanks for the advice Niemand.
I think I'll save my money for now. Now that I know I shouldn't be warring too much as is, it makes money less important.
I'm just saving up money and strengthening up on the daily. Gnilraps sent me a very generous gold gift, so I'm close to being able to afford my next training upgrade once the monthly discount comes around.

Re: Money Making for New Players
at your age, i am not so sure upgrading your training grounds will be very beneficial to you.
It may be better to save your gold for whenever admin gets off their lazy asses and rolls out the perception training.
Of course, I have not really been around much lately so someone else may have better info but low strength players are at a HUGE disadvantage in this game.

Re: Money Making for New Players
seriously at this point if you are commited to ground battles its gonna be a boring one. its gonna be all about just strength training and nothing else till you have strength to make a difference, which at this point youwould be too far behind. Whydoibother has it right. I would forego the training grounds and save the gold for perception when its released. they will be alot cheaper (as was stated in an erep article somewhere) and when it comes to damage and co's you will see them alot more often in air battles rather than ground.

Re: Money Making for New Players
Focus on air battles like the others have said, save the gold for perception training grounds.
Don't bother with strength or land battles.
