Has Infantry Kit become obsolete?

Post by Charles Moncrieff on Mon Aug 08, 2016 8:45 am

Ever since the introduction of the maverick pack, this is something that I've been thinking about.

So the maverick pack offers a better deal right? it gives you xp, it gets you closer to Elite bonus, etc and you dont need to choose against fighting in air battles.

My question is, do any of you guys still buy IK? and if so, why?

guessing this is the right section for this

Personally I don't think either of the packs are a good deal for you or for me. The maverick pack is only good for those with 100k+ strength that are in D4 that would like to earn a battle hero without spending as much energy or have fight those with 40-60k more strength.

IK packs are a gamble depending on how many people in D4 are using a maverick pack along with the overall activity of the eWorld. Unless Plato updates it to halve the strength each division you go down the IK is basically pointless. How does someone someone in D1 realistically fight against someone with 160k strength?

Only exception I can see are for that already have 100k strength or close to it that want to wait and see what Plato does and not get into flying yet.

If you just want to fight and get to the Elite bonus, I would say getting a power pack would be the way to go and focus on just air battles.

That power pack suggestion is something I hadn't thought of. That makes a hell lot of sense actually.

With the new Airborn I am not sure how much the Maverick Pack was used. I think the IK pack is still relevant.

How so? because IK doesnt stop experience from air battles, maverick pack let's you swtich back to d1 even if you get pushed into d2 and stay in d1 permanently if you wish.

I do agree that it's probably one of the least used packs though.
