Eh, I'm not USWP because the party has always seemed too insular to me.

That, and literally every time I've been in USWP IRC, I've gotten the distinct feeling that the channel is too quiet and you all must be plotting elsewhere.

That said, you guys have almost always outperformed the other parties in pushing your members to leadership positions, so I'll give you that much.

If you want my serious opinion on the climate of parties in the eUS though, I'm starting to feel like we really don't have enough high activity meta players left to fully staff five strong parties. I think between all of us, we could probably manage three fully-functioning strong parties at any given time. Not five though.

In terms of 2009 peak activity parties, we have enough for 2 right now.

Also, we're not plotting anything anywhere on IRC. USWP does what needs doing to get the job done, and then we focus on whatever other things we're working on. Which is why you see so many of us leading MUs and in government positions.

but yeah, USWP is made up of the workers who keep the country running, we have just enough IRC presence to contact people when needed, but in-game messages are the most reliable way to get hold of someone.

We all have our other jobs and communities to take care of so the party channel admittedly gets neglected.

Who's plotting stuff? Deep is running EZC, Raw's supplying it, Artela handles USAF commune stuff, WO works with State and other behind the scenes jobs, WdIb isan officer and captain, you know SHF by now, it goes on.

Everyone is busy working for the country so there's little need for artificially propping up a community on IRC which may detract from the quality work and life seen elsewhere.

Success is the result of hard work and dedication.

If you feel as though it casts an unfavorable light on parties not-USWP to have such a thread, you can feel free to run one for your own party, but there is no point in trying to derail this one and brag about ST6 and the eUS Mil on the EZC forum in a thread full of pride for EZC, and USWP simply for its housing many of us.

Hell, you can't even claim it a serious recruitment tool. If "ba da boop" is a serious concern for you, then it sounds like your party needs to work on retention.
